This article takes a look at the Geneva Declaration on the Rights of the Child of 1924 and the 2024 Geneva Declaration on the Rights of the Child, which was adopted to mark its 100th anniversary. It examines the guarantees contained in both declarations and the extent to which they have shaped or may still shape the modern understanding of children's rights.
